Project Background

Following the relevant policies of the State Taxation Administration, Beiming Software developed pooled cloud data center resources and flexible and scalable cloud services based on the construction concept of "unified planning, resource sharing, phased integration, and coordinated development". It is in accordance with the guiding principles of the province's "one cloud" overall planning, leveraging cloud computing trends and open virtualization technology, while taking into account the reality. The results include a new pattern of "one cloud" in the province's tax data center and the launch of private cloud rental services.

Project Brief

The Guangdong Provincial Taxation Cloud Platform built by Beiming Software fully incorporates the characteristics of cloud computing and cloud services, integrating software and hardware resources in the cloud environment into different types of cloud services for users of the Guangzhou Provincial Tax Service. The types of services include virtual machine resources, bare metal resources, storage resources, backup resources, load balancing services, databases, security services, technical support services, etc., which fully cover the various needs of users on the cloud system. At the same time, the platform provides customized services for major systems, such as dedicated zones and resource pools, catering to the personalized needs of key customers.

Solution Highlights

The platform is a complete set of technical solutions using Huawei's HCSO model, including mature cloud computing design, excellent Huawei service system management, and powerful technical support provided by Huawei's core team. All hardware on the platform, including cloud servers, network equipment, storage devices, and security devices, features Huawei's flagship products. There are no incompatibility issues between software and hardware, with high overall stability post-launch. From 2019 to the present, all core products can be smoothly expanded or upgraded to meet the growing business needs.

Implementation Value

The Guangdong Provincial Taxation Cloud Platform is one of the benchmark projects of the Guangdong Provincial Tax Service. Since its launch in 2019, the platform has grown from supporting 20 business systems to more than 25 ones. The cloud service data warehouse capacity has grown from 47 nodes to 95 nodes in the initial stage, with a projected need for up to 200 nodes in the next three years. At the same time, the rental business has grown rapidly, and various business systems have been launched on the taxation cloud system. The mature cloud technology and the intensive cloud platform model have been recognized by various business systems, customers, and manufacturers. In 2023, the taxation cloud system began a shift towards localization, with the technical route changed from X86 to domestic alternatives. At present, the taxation cloud platform has been in operation for 3 years. Backed by the Beiming Software and Huawei's technical strength, the business of the Guangdong Provincial Tax Service has been running smoothly, reaching 99.99% availability.
