Since the reform and opening up, Shandong's transportation industry has achieved unprecedented development. In order to solve these problems, Beiming Software has created a data resource management platform to help the Shandong Transportation Department achieve cross-department and cross-industry data sharing and exchange.
The data resource management platform of the Shandong Transportation Department has built a unified internal and external data resource exchange, sharing and release center for the transportation industry. The construction includes the management of government information of traffic departments as well as their information exchange and sharing. It involves integrating existing resources to enable resource sharing and data analysis functions through cloud services, data services, basic services, map services, etc, maximizing resource advantages and providing higher-quality services.
1. Continuously Improving the Data Resource Library of the Transportation Industry
The data resource management platform of the Shandong Transportation Department has built a basic, standardized and strategically unified data resource management pool for the transportation industry, and has formed a unified and standardized transportation industry data resource catalog for the province.
2. Enhancing Data Resource Sharing and Industry Coordination
The project has built a framework with the Shandong Transportation Department Data Resource Management Platform at its core, covering roads, railways, civil aviation, meteorology, traffic police, transportation management, waterways, urban traffic, and law enforcement sectors. It integrates the architectures of big data centers at all levels from the Ministry of Transport,and regional transportation bureaus, to transportation enterprises, expanding the scope of data interconnection and effectively supporting the application of comprehensive transportation big data.
3. Creating Big Data Innovative Applications
The platform created big data innovation applications and empowered management with data, serving macro decision-making, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies, industry governance, and epidemic prevention and control.
The data resource management platform of the Department of Transportation of Shandong has built a foundational, standardized and strategically unified data resource management pool for the transportation industry, forming a unified and standardized transportation industry data resource catalog for the province. At present, the platform has accessed 19 business departments, 34 business systems, 180 types of data resources, and 6,924 types of data items, of which over 8.5 billion data items have been connected to internal and external checkpoint data. In addition, the platform formed an open list of data resources in the transportation industry, accessed the unified public data resources open website of the province, and built a unified internal and external data resource exchange, sharing, and release center for the industry, realizing vertical data sharing and exchange with the Ministry of Transport and the prefectural and municipal transportation bureaus, and horizontal data sharing and exchange with enterprise units and collaborative departments.
